Eighteen Forty Two was founded in Austin, Texas, by Bryn Bray, a creative spirit with a vision to elevate game day style. Years ago, Bryn noticed the lack of sophisticated, classy accessories that could bring a touch of elegance and personality to sports events. Driven to fill this gap, she began crafting her own unique pieces using a 3D printer to design one-of-a-kind accessories inspired by beloved mascot animals and team spirit. These designs quickly evolved into more than just game day wear—they became sentimental keepsakes that tell a story.

What's in a Name?

Eighteen Forty Two pays homage to the Archives War, a pivotal moment in Austin’s history when Angelina Eberly courageously fired a cannon to defend the city’s archives. Just as Eberly stood firm and unapologetic, Eighteen Forty Two is for those who carve their own paths—bold, resilient, and fiercely proud of the traditions they uphold.
